This is the second time I have filled my 2012 Toyota Tundra Crew with 0W-20 synthetic. Even though it takes 2 full gallons for a fill up its well worth the time and cost. This oil only has to be changed out once a year or within an extended driving distance, or hard service. My Tundra does see off road quite often and I've never had a worry about over heating or an other oil related issues. With a long life oil filter and air filter changed at the same time, I only have to change fluids once a year. That's awesome, as I travel quite often as a wounded Veteran, going to WWP events and also using my truck for Team Rubicon disaster relief efforts. The sticker on the window gets the word out, the truck running flawlessly is all the
proof I need. I'll keep using it as long as you guys keep making a great product.

I have used Amsoil products in all my vehicles for many years. With my latest purchase I felt it was time to let people know how great these products are.
I was shopping for a new tow vehicle for our family. We love Suburbans however to get one that would meet our needs we had to go shopping for an old one as 2001-2006 were the only years a Burb could tow 12,000 pounds if it had the 8.1 L engine.
There was no way I could talk my wife into a pick-up truck or a diesel
so I was left with one choice and believe me they are had to find as few were made and many of those are long out of commission or in very poor shape.
As much as I was looking forward to a stronger tow vehicle I was dreading what the fuel economy would be. I finally found one in North Bay, Ontario but I lived just outside of Calgary, Alberta.
Before flying out to Ontario to pick up the truck I called the closest Jiffy Lube in Sudbury, Ontario and arranged for them to order in all the Amsoil products I wanted so they could change all the fluids in the truck before I drove the 3000km home to Alberta. I did everything, engine oil and filter, transmission, transfer case, front and rear differential, and coolant. It took about 3 hours to complete.
I hit the highway as soon as they were done. I have always been meticulous about keeping track of my fuel economy and I was curious how bad it would really be. I have read that 10-12 MPG Imp. is average unloaded and 6-8 MPG Imp. towing
was what I should expect.
Wow, was I surprised!
I had about 500 lbs of cargo in the truck with no passengers. Most of the long trip I averaged about 55-60 MPH. My average fuel economy for the entire 3000km trip was 17.5 MPG Imperial. Even one MPG more with a 7500 lb truck is something to get excited about. I do not think it is possible to attain fuel economy like this with out Amsoil, no matter how nice you drive.
I can't wait to see how it does on its first towing trip!
Thanks for making such great products.

So far the Signature Series 0w-20 oil is doing great in my 2016 Honda Accord 6-speed manual.
My first oil change was at 5,000 miles and my mileage as gone from 35+ to 39+ mpg. I'm sure that Amsoil had something to do with it. Car runs smooth and
strong. Almost ready for my next oil change.
I'll be using the Signature Series in my Honda from now on.
Amsoil worked fantastic in my old 2003 VW Jetta TDI which had over 360,000 miles when I sold it and my friend who bought it from me will be using Amsoil in it as well (now has over 375,000 miles).
I'll be switching my Ram 6.7L Cummins 6-speed to Amsoil next change as well.
Though a little pricey, Amsoil makes good products that definitely protect your investment.

My wife puts 250 kms a day on her 2010 Prius and I was tired of paying $100 for a 0W20 oil change at a drive thru every 7 weeks. Bought this Amsoil for its claim of extended oil change intervals. Yes it's more expensive initially with an EA oil filter, but when only changing oil every 35000 kms the savings add up. No oil loss during that time or any adverse experience. My 2000 Jetta TDI with over 500,000 kms was always serviced with Amsoil products and at extended intervals. Still running perfect every day.

I've used Amsoil for about 30 years now. Used cars and new. My first oil change in the new car gets the Amsoil, and never anything else after that. I've had no maintenance issues due to oil in any of my vehicle, ever, and I actually run them for the full year or 25,000 miles as advertised. One of my vehicles is a Subaru, which calls for synthetic right from the start. I used to let the dealer do the oil changes, including using their own preferred oil brand, but I swear, when I switched it over to Amsoil it actually runs smoother and quieter. I don't know how or why, but it is what it is! My sons and my brothers use it as well. same results.

People tell me they don't use amsoil because of the high cost. But if you change the oil at 30, 000 mile intervals like I do, it actually costs LESS than paying for an oil and filter change every 5, 000 miles. And changing the micron filters every 10 to 15 thousand miles is very easy to do, plus you are getting a much better product using a full synthetic oil and your car's engine will last a lot longer. That's why all Nascar drivers only use a full synthetic oil. That's why jet airplanes only use a full synthetic oil. The protection, even at extreme temperatures is unparalleled. I had a real estate client who operated a fleet of 18 wheelers. He was so cheap he would change the oil at 100, 000 intervals, but he would change filters and do oil analysis along the way. But, my point is if he could operate all those trucks on a 100, 000 mile oil change schedule, it's really no problem for a passenger car to change oil at 30, 000 mile intervals because unlike regular oil a synthetic does not break down. The key is to do the micron filter changes on schedule, which usually require you add ftom a half quart to a full quart of oil at that time.

0w20 are the lowest viscosity oils currently used for cars. The upside is better fuel economy due to lower drag, therefore less energy wasted to pump oil inside the engine.
However, the downside is, lower viscosity oils does not protect critical components at high heat & high stress situations. The oil is too thin. The film of oil that keeps two moving parts from touching each other easily burns off due to lower film strength. This results in accelerated wear!
With research, I have found that Amsoil's signature series 0w20 is the only oil that can provide adequate levels of protection. If your driving a vehicle that requires 0w20 or 5w20, then look no further, get this 0w20 motor oil or the Amsoil signature series 5w20. These two oils will help your engine see high mileage before requiring major repairs. Use the "best money can buy" 20 weight oil as a cheap insurance against engine wear. Do not bother with lower grade oils or even Amsoil's own XL or OE series oils.

I installed Amsoil 0W-20 Signature Series in my 2011 Honda Odyssey with about 30,000 km's. Prior to this, it was running on dealer installed oil.
With Amsoil the
average fuel consumption meter dropped from 13.5L/100km to 11L/100km for the exact same weekly driving routine (lots of in town driving).
This translates to about 125km more driving range for a tank of 80 litres. That's about $15-20 in fuel savings per fill up. I do about 30 fill ups per year. So the total savings is about $450-$600.
I only spent about $50 for 5 bottles of Amsoil 0W-20 ASM, which will last me a year, while saving 10 times that in fuel!!! Never thought motor oil can do so much. Thanks to Amsoil
