Another great Amsoil product. I used it in my BMW K1600 GTL drive shaft. These drives can be a bit sloppy but it seems quieter and more precise since I put in the Amsoil.

Replaced RCF TVD rear diff fluid with severe gear 75w-90 and I felt an instant smoothness when I reversed. It didn't feel stiff or feel as if there was any resistance. Gone 1000 miles so far and it still feels lubricated.

I've been using this in my Harley Davidson Ultra Limited's gearbox since it was new in 2013. Started using it in 2006 on previous Harley. I could tell a difference immediately. Smoother shifting and confidence the gearbox was better protected than the OEM requirement of using engine oil in the gearbox.

Ive been running this in both axles for 112,000 miles. I dont have issues with kicking it in 4WD in extreme cold (no 4WD button/knob in this rig). The rear locking Eaton differential works reliably with zero noise. I tow consistently and I tap shift 97% of the time I drive to avoid using my service brakes which puts extreme stress on my drivetrain (bought truck new, truck has 125K hard miles, original factory installed rotors & pads are still on it and only the pads have worn by 2mm max). I drain & fill the diffs every 45K and I only get metal dust at the plugs, no flakes. So, I would say its working well.

I switched from OEM Honda differential oil to Amsoil when rapsy metallic noises started coming from the differential after sweeping curves (street, not track etc.). The raspy noises disappeared immediately, and as of the 1-year mark, they have not returned.

I purchased a 2007 HD Ultra Classic in Nov. 2006. It was the first year of the 96 cu. in. Engine and 6 speed transmission.
In the first 600 miles I was bothered by hard shifting, and a noisy 6th gear. I found out Harley had used their 20W-50 oil in the trans.
At 600 miles I replaced the transmission oil with Amsoil Sever Gear 75W-90. Problem solved.
My bike now has 60K miles and the trans shifts beautifully with no noise.

Ive been using amsoil for years in my bikes. As soon as I buy a new bike amsoil goes in it. Holds up to heat and the beating I put it through. Also quiets the trans and can find neutral a lot more easier. The only downside is its clear. Makes it difficult to see on dipstick.

I have a dodge ram 6.7 cummins 2500 4X4 Truck that pulls a 14k Fifth wheel. I noticed my rear end was chattering when turning on long trips. Acted just like it needed slip additive. All the info I could find said no additive. Dodge dealer wanted to do diff work...NOT 80k miles and no noise..
I decided to go up on wt. to 110 sever gear. All GOOD! Perfect! I tell everyone I meet to trash the mopar fluid if your working your truck.

my truck pulls a trailer that is right at its maximum gvwr. when it comes to the differential, i wanted the absolute best gear oil on the market. amsoil conducted a test on many gear oils available. severe gear scores higher over all [meaning average] when considering the all of 14 ways the oil was tested. for many years amsoil has conducted comparison tests of their best synthetic oils. amsoil always scores a higher average in the tests. i have heard people try and say their favorite oil is better than amsoil, but they cannot point to any testing that would support their opinions.

I have been using Amsoil exclusively in my 07 power wagon for over 2 years. With electric lockers front and rear, this is the only oil that keeps the lockers functioning perfectly. A lot of power wagon owners have issues with slow locker engagement, but mine engage almost instantly, and I no longer have foamy gear oil when I open the diffs.

Replaced the gear oil in my 07 f150 with amsoil and couldn't be happier. Pretty sure I even get a mpg or 2 better gas millage as well. Transmission also tends to downshift less going up hills. Next up I will be switching out the trans oil with amsoil as well.

Great gear oil. Running it in both of my diffs with no issues for ~5k miles on the new truck (I know, nothing compared to a lot of others) and 30k mi on my previous Jeep. The gear oil smells rich (very scientific, I know !) and pumps great. Several years ago I was approached by an AMSOIL fanatic who I got a very MLM scheme feel from, but after digging in; I'm sold. Doesn't matter if it's a new or used vehicle, I make a habit of changing every fluid to AMSOIL. Regardless of if you believe the 3rd party tests, I like the peace of mind in knowing I'm running the best in my vehicles.

I ran this oil in my old 2006 sillverado's differentials for over 200k miles and ever had to repairthem for any reason.
I
recently put this in both the front and rear end of my 2014 Silverado. The factory oil in the rear end was much thinner and my rear differential was noisy. This oil cured that instantly and now its nice and quiet. Despite this oil being thicker than factory i have not seen any negative difference in fuel economy.

Used for a a 2015 Ram 1500. The old oil came out at 77 k miles. It was foaming extremely bad (air bubbles in oil). I replaced with severe gear and Amsoil's limited slip fluid.
I noticed smoother driving characteristics with the severe gear. The truck rolls better. I also noticed a 1 mpg increase in fuel economy.

I had this gear oil installed in my 1994 Ford Ranger XLT 2WD differential by a local repair shop. An inspection of the gear set revealed all was well. This truck has well over 200,000 miles on it and this marked my second differential oil change. My decision to use the Amsoil 75W-90 Servere Gear oil was based on the fact this truck hauls a wide variety of cargo (from rocks, wood to motorcycles) and I treasure reliability. After driving this truck for 23+ years, I've become familiar with it's sounds and feel and I noticed an absence of a slight howl coming the back of the truck at freeway speeds. No other changes or adjustments were made during the oil change and I maintain my own tire pressures. I look forward to not having to be concerned about this for another 100,000 miles!

Used this in my 18 Ram 2500. Reading some forums, some people had to use limited slip additive in their rear diff because of some chatter even though they have a torsen style limited slip with no clutches. I have not had any of this chatter with this oil.

Hard to know exactly how this will perform long-term, but since I have 100Ks of miles using all manner of AMSOIL products in cars, motorcycles, ATVs, tractors, and small equipment, I also have no doubt this is a top notch oil and I'll likely never have to replace this oil in my Outback again. I've used Am's oil for almost 25 years now in racing , hauling , commuter car and even my hoists use it . In all the years I've used Am's oil I've never had a component fail that was useing it . For the most part the higher initial cost is offset by the longer service intervals . At 30 below I've seen the Am's oil 5w30 and conventional 5w30 . The Am's oil pours nice and the conventional was like year.
